W. Kost has been manufacturing wood roof and floor truss systems for over 30 years.  Since the 1980s, W. Kost has introduced engineered wood products to many of the area's largest builders and contractors.  For the past 10 years, W. Kost has been supplying wall panels to professionals across the Chicagoland area.  We have built a solid reputation in the construction market for responsive service, state of the art engineering, high caliber workmanship and product delivery that keep our customers' projects on time and within budget.

Over the years, W. Kost has improved and expanded its production machinery and created specialized equipment for material handling, production and delivery.  Other equipment has been carefully selected over the years to handle our specific production assignments.  This commitment to productivity has earned W. Kost a reputation for having a very competitive pricing structure.

Extensive experience and technical expertise allow our in-house engineering department to meet even the most complex, custom design criteria. Our in-house engineering system enables us to quickly and efficiently handle routine roof, floor or panel projects. This also enables us to give builders virtually instant answers on any design problems they may have.   In addition, we provide appropriate engineering information on local building code requirements for the various communities our builders' serve.

 

Wall Panel Division

Our Wall Panel division is a state-of-the-art, fully automated, computer-driven production facility.  Powered by the latest and most sophisticated technology available, computerized operation minimizes production time, reduces error margin and down time, and maintains maximum quality, efficiency and productivity.  Fully automated marking systems insure accurate labeling of all panels and parts.  Direct downloads from designer to computerized saws reduce human error.  Automated sheathing and nailing machines continuously feed assembled panels to enable W. Kost Manufacturing an
